Rescuing a discarded digital picture after a deletion mistake
Perhaps the best thing about digital photography is that the price of the pictures is so small that one can afford to take plenty of pictures and delete them whenever they wish. Unlike film where one picture can cost almost $1.00 and when factoring in the price of development and prints, a digital camera can allow the user to take pictures for less than a penny a shot. And that assumes that they opt to print out all of the pictures from their camera memory card without selectively deleting them. Of course almost everyone first takes a look at their digital photographs before printing them out. During the process of examining these pictures we usually delete the ones that didn’t quite come out well.
But as easily as we can delete a picture that we do not care to save we can accidentally delete the ones we had planned to save and send to all our friends and relatives. For this reason there exists great software that can quickly and easily recover deleted photos. Not only can these programs recover digital photos from camera SD cards and USB flash drives, the same programs are capable of rescuing lost videos and music files as well.
